PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Western Connecticut State University women's track and field freshman
Jordyn Grey (Naugatuck, Conn.) was selected as the Little East Conference (LEC) Women's Field Rookie of the Week for her fine performances in a pair of weekend events to kick off the Wolves' outdoor season. Grey recorded a pair of personal-best performances in the discus. At Bryant's Jaylin Rainford Invitational, she finished ninth in the shot put (11.05 m) and 16th in the discus (32.67 m). She then won the discus (34.12 m), placed third in the hammer (37.38 m) and took seventh in the shot put (10.69 m) at AIC's Yellow Jacket Invitational. WestConn, coached by
