SPRINGFIELD, Mass. —
Jordyn Grey (Naugatuck, Conn.) nabbed a pair of podium spots with a first-place finish in the discus throw and earned third in the hammer throw for the Western Connecticut State University women's outdoor track & field team on Saturday at the Yellow Jacket Open hosted by the American International College. Grey threw a career-best 34.12 meters in the discus and had a 37.38-meter throw in the hammer. The first-year also claimed seventh in the shot put with a 10.69-meter throw.
Annastacia Seville (Torrington, Conn.) finished fifth in the hammer after going 35.37 meters and
Caitlin Conley (Ridgefield, Conn.) also took the fifth spot in the javelin after a 22.52-meter toss.
The Wolves head to the University of Hartford for the Rage in the Cage Invitational on April 3.
