SMITHFIELD, R.I. — Jordyn Grey (Naugatuck, Conn.) finished ninth in the shot put for the Western Connecticut State University women's outdoor track & field team at the Jaylin Rainford Invitational hosted by Bryant University on Friday.

The first-year had an 11.05-meter heave in the shot put and threw a personal best in the discus with a 32.67-meter throw for the 16th spot. Vienna Brocco (Roslyn, N.Y.) ran a career best in the 1500m with a time of 5:43.32.

The Wolves head to the American International College on Saturday for the Yellow Jacket Open at 10 a.m.
