PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Isabella Pota (East Meadow, N.Y. ) earned Little East Conference (LEC) Offensive Player of the Week after the Western Connecticut State University women's lacrosse team went 1-1 to open the season. Pota scored twice and had five draw controls in a 15-3 loss at Cortland State, and then scored five goals with a ground ball, a caused turnover and 10 draw controls in an 18-5 win at Farmingdale State.
