PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Western Connecticut State University junior Madison Preston (Brookfield, Conn.) was honored as the Little East Conference (LEC) Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week for her tremendous play in the Wolves' 20-7 win over Westfield State. Preston had three ground balls and two caused turnovers against the Owls. She also scored a goal and assisted on another in the game.  WestConn, coached by Rachael Griffith (3rd Season), is 3-2 this spring and will visit St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida on Wednesday, March 18 at noon.
