DANBURY, Conn. - The visiting Western Connecticut State University Wolves fell, 19-2, against the No. 2-ranked Tufts University Jumbos in women's lacrosse action this afternoon at Bello Field. WestConn falls to 1-2 and the Jumbos improve to 2-0.

Norah Zuidema (Marlboro, N.Y.) made nine saves and Devin Chipman had six of Tufts' seven stops. Grace Hammond paced the Jumbo offense with three goals. WestConn junior Annaliese Reggio (White Plains, N.Y.) scooped a team-high four ground balls and sophomore Kyle Murnane (Bethpage, N.Y.) paced the Wolves with three caused turnovers.
