NORTHAMPTON, Mass. - Western Connecticut State University women's basketball senior forward Sara Macary (Naugatuck, Conn.) was named to the New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) Weekly Honor Roll Second Team for her outstanding play in games against Keene State and Castleton last week. Macary had 14 points and 12 rebounds in a 77-62 setback against the Owls on January 14 and collected 22 points, 14 boards, four steals, and a blocked shot in the Wolves' 59-51 victory over the Spartans on January 17.  Macary made 15 of 28 shots from the floor in the two games.  WestConn, coached by Maria Conlon (2nd Season), is 6-10 overall and 2-6 in the Little East Conference heading into a non-conference contest on Wednesday versus SUNY Cobleskill.
