PROVIDENCE, R.I. - First-year midfielder Ellenoire Schoen (Newtown, Conn.) was named Little East Conference (LEC) Rookie of the Week after netting her second goal of the season, announced by the league on Monday.

Schoen was one of four goal scorers for the Wolves as they topped LEC-rival UMass Dartmouth on Saturday, 4-1. Her tally in the 45th-minute gave WestConn a 3-1 lead in that contest. It was her second goal of the season, and first since the Wolves' 3-1 season-opening win over Saint Joseph (Conn.).
