MIDDLETOWN, Conn. - Sophomore
Kenneth Okoroafor (Trumbull, Conn.) won the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.01, as the Western Connecticut State University Wolves competed in the Wesleyan University Men's Indoor Track and Field Invitational this afternoon at Bacon Field House. Okoroafor's wine was one of five top ten finishes by the Wolves today and the first winning performance in the history of WestConn track and field. WestConn will be back in action on February 7 and 8 at Boston College's Showdown at The Heights.

Marciel Do Amaral (Danbury, Conn.) added a fourth-place time of 9.20 in the 60-meter hurdles, after posting the third-fastest time (9.34) in the preliminaries, and fellow freshman
Jeferson Encarnacion (Bridgeport, Conn.) placed fourth in the high jump at 5'10/75" for the Wolves. WestConn senior
Nick Howlett (North Haven, Conn.) was ninth in the mile run at 4:47.46, and senior
Ethan Alexander (Chapachet, R.I.) was 10th in the 400-meter run.
