HARTFORD, Conn. - Junior
Quasim Benson (Wilmington, Del.) finished third in the long jump at 20'17.75" to lead the Western Connecticut State University Wolves to a tie for 10th place in the Trinity Men's Outdoor Track and Field Invitational at Trinity College this afternoon. WestConn, which, competed in the Bonnie Edmondson Invitational at Eastern Connecticut State University yesterday, tied Union College for 10th place with 13 points. Rensselaer won the team title with 144 points. WestConn will start the championship season next Saturday with the Little East Conference (LEC) Championship Meet at Eastern Connecticut.
