DANBURY, Conn. -  Each week, WestConn Athletics selects one female and one male student-athlete as the Wolves of the Week, recognizing their outstanding performances in their respective sports from the previous week. The honorees are announced every Wednesday. The 23rd Wolves of the Week in 2025-26 academic year for their stellar performances on the turf and on the court. Women's lacrosse Isabella Pota (East Meadow, N.Y.) and men's basketball Jahlyl Morgan (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) were named Wolves of the Week.

Pota scored twice and had five draw controls in a 15-3 loss at Cortland State, and then scored five goals with a ground ball, a caused turnover and 10 draw controls in an 18-5 win at Farmingdale State.

In the Little East Conference Tournament, Morgan put up 22 points, recorded 12 rebounds, six steals and a pair of assists to help men's basketball become LEC Champions.
