SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Marciel Do Amaral (Danbury, Conn.) earned two top 10 finishes for the Western Connecticut State University men's outdoor track & field team at the Yellow Jacket Open hosted by the American International College on Saturday. Do Amaral finished sixth in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 17.90 and clocked in 10th in the 100-meter dash for a personal best time of 11.66.

In the shot put, Daniel Nalbatian (Danbury, Conn.) placed eighth with a 12.42m heave. The first-year earned 13th in the discus and hammer throw after he threw a career-best 34.72m in the discus and 34.35m in the hammer. Also in the hammer throw, Kenneth Scholl (East Islip, N.Y.) finished 10th after throwing for 35.90 meters, while Thomas Larkin (Highland Falls, N.Y.) had a personal best heave of 34.82 meters.

The Wolves head to the University of Hartford for the Rage in the Cage Invitational on April 3.
