SMITHFIELD, R.I. —
Zenghan Piao (Fairfield, Conn.),
Nick Howlett (North Haven, Conn.) and
Ryan Andryuk (Goshen, N.Y.) earned personal bests as the Western Connecticut State University men's outdoor track & field team competed at the Jaylin Rainford Invitational hosted by Bryant University on Friday.
Piao came in ninth in the triple jump with a lead of 12.04 meters. In the 3000m steeplechase, Howlett clocked in with a time of 10:29.89 for the 14th spot, while Andryuk crossed the line at 23.97 in the 200-meter dash.
The Wolves head to the American International College on Saturday for the Yellow Jacket Open at 10 a.m.
