PROVIDENCE R.I. — Western Connecticut State University setter Maggie Ferguson (Southbury, Conn.) was named the Little East Conference (LEC) Setter of the Week after she dished out a match-high 25 assists in the win over the Clark University Cougars.

Ferguson averaged 9.50 assists per set while totaling 114 assists over a 2-1 week for the Wolves. She capped the week with 41 assists and 14 digs in a 3-2 victory over Rivier University on Saturday after opening the tri-match with 25 assists and nine digs in a sweep of Clark. Ferguson opened the week with a 48-assist, 18-dig performance in a 3-1 loss at Farmingdale State on Thursday.
