Kile Jackson (Danbury, Conn.) earned a spot on the Defensive Line National Team of the Week following a monster game in the trenches for the Wolves. Jackson becomes the 18th student-athlete in program history to achieve this recognition.
Jackson had a career-best seven tackles, a career-high three and a half sacks for loss of 25 yards, and his first career interception in the Wolves' 38-7 win at Kean University on Saturday. He anchored the Wolves' defensive front that held the Cougars to eight rushing yards on 20 attempts.
WestConn remains on the road for its first Landmark Conference contest against Juniata College on October 4 for a 1 p.m. kick off.
