UTICA, N.Y. - Freshman
Terrell St. Clair (Danbury, Conn.) finished second in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:06.19, as the Western Connecticut State University Wolves opened the 2025-26 men's indoor track and field season at the Utica College Holiday Classic this afternoon at Hutton Sports and Recreation Center. St. Clair finished just 1.22 seconds out of first place and added a 10th-place performance in the mile run. WestConn will be back in action next year beginning with the Reggie Poyau Invitational at Brandeis University on January 17.

Nick Howlett (North Haven, Conn.) and freshman
Ed Dalton (Naugatuck, Conn.) were seventh and eighth, respectively. WestConn sophomore
Marciel Do Amaral (Danbury, Conn.) highlighted the hurdles with a 22nd-place finish and was also the Wolves' top performer in the 60-meter dash (tied for 26th) and the 200-meter dash (32nd). Junior
Zenghan Piao (Fairfield, Conn.) was 15th in the triple jump and 23rd in the long jump for the Wolves, while rookies
Daniel Nalbatian (Danbury, Conn.) and
Jayden Brockington (Niskayuna, N.Y.) added 32nd-place tosses in the shot put and the weight throw, respectively.
