The Wolves got off to hot start, sweeping doubles play to take a 3-0 lead. Juniors

Bodhi Kitt (Norwalk, Conn.) won the most lopsided doubles match, 8-1, at the top of the ladder, while Cipriano and classmate
Brooke Stillman (Brookfield, Conn.) registered Stillman's first victory of the fall, 8-4, at third doubles.
In singles, Cipriano earned a quick point at the No. 3 spot, 6-0, 6-2, followed by wins from juniors Sophia Charbonneau (Oakville, Conn.) and
Diana Rebelo (Naugatuck, Conn.) at #5 and No. 4, respectively. Grasso and senior
Natalie Paradise (Naugatuck, Conn.) also won in straight sets for the Wolves, while Kitt lost their first singles match of the season, recovering from a 6-1 loss in the first set to come up just short, 6-4, in the second set.
"The result of today's match is the highlight of the season so far for me," said WestConn Head Coach Shawn Stillman. "The score doesn't reflect how close it was and our team was able to maintain its intensity from the beginning through the end of the match. This was great preparation for our upcoming heavy conference schedule. We hope to continue this momentum."
