PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Western Connecticut State University Wolves will open the 2026 season with a doibleheader against Yeshiva University on Sunday, February 22 at Breslin Field in Lyndhurst. The Wolves were picked to finish ninth in the Little East Conference (LEC) 2026 Baseball Coaches Pre-Season Poll. WestConn, coached by
John Susi (26th Season), finished the 2025 campaign with a 9-26 overall record and in ninth place in the LEC with an 1-15 mark against conference teams. The Wolves will also play a twinbill at SUNY Purchase on Sunday, March 1 before heading to Myrtle Beach, S.C. to participate in the Ripken Experience college event with eight games from March 14 to 18. WestConn's LEC opener is slated for Saturday, March 21 with a noon doubleheader at the University of Massachusetts-Boston. The Wolves home opener is a conference doubleheader against the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth Corsairs on Saturday, March 28.
