HARTFORD, Conn. — In the first meet of the season, first-year Wolves Alex Neves (Danbury, Conn.), Terrell St. Clair (Danbury, Conn.) and Ed Dalton (Naugatuck, Conn.) placed in the top 75 for the Western Connecticut State University men's cross country team at the University of Hartford Invitational at Keney Park Golf Club on Saturday.

In his college debut, Neves crossed the finish line in the 5K for WestConn at 17:14.1 to earn 31st place. St. Clair placed 50th overall in the 5K with a time of 18:00.6, followed by Dalton at 56th for a time of 18:16.8.

The Wolves race next at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on September 20 at the Robert Dowd Cross Country Course.
