CANTON, N.Y. - Freshman Alex Neves (Danbury, Conn.) finished 108th with a time of 28:08.5, as the Western Connecticut State University Wolves placed 23rd as a squad in the NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Regional Championships on Ronald C. Hoffman Course this afternoon.  WestConn totaled 714 as a team, 43 points ahead of 24th-place Sage.  Rensselaer was first in the 26-team field with 44 points.  Wolves rookie Ed Dalton (Naugatuck, Conn.) was 135th at 29:06.4 and graduate Nick Howlett (North Haven, Conn.) came in 147th at 29:48.1.  The race was the final meet of the 2025 season for the Wolves.
