Alex Neves (Danbury, Conn.) posted a 65th-place time of 26:41.80 over 8,000 meters to earn 44 points and lead the Western Connecticut State University Wolves to 23rd in the team standings at the Keene State Men's Cross Country Invitational this afternoon. WestConn totaled 624 as a squad, 11 behind 22nd-place Framingham State and well ahead of 24th-place Salve Regina. No. 9-ranked Williams won the team title with 31 points. The Wolves will hit the trails next on Saturday, October when they head to Harkness State Park for the Connecticut College Invitational.
