Box Score DANBURY, Conn. - The Western Connecticut State University Wolves lost, 9-0, against the visiting Bridgewater State University Bears in Little East Conference (LEC) women's tennis action this afternoon at Westside Courts.  WestConn falls to 3-5 overall and 1-2 in the LEC and Bridgewater State improves to 4-1 overall and 2-1 in the league.  At second doubles, senior Sarah Cipriano (Watertown, Conn.) and Sophia Charbonneau (Oakville, Conn.) played their strongest match of the season going shot-for-shot against their opponents.  The Wolves tandem served for the set at 7-6, but ultimately fell, 7-5, in the tiebreaker.  In third singles, senior captain Diana Rebelo (Naugatuck, Conn.) ended the evening by taking her opponent to the limit but losing.7-3. in the second set tiebreaker. 

"This match was a good test to gauge where we stand in the conference," said WestConn Head Coach Shawn Stillman. "We didn't win any courts, but we played most of them close and competitively. Bridgewater was a couple of shots better today and this helps us focus on what we need to work on."
