NEW LONDON, Conn. - The Western Connecticut State University men's and women's cross country squads participated in the Connecticut College Invite on Saturday. No team results were handed out but the Wolves put up some solid performances.

Senior Eric Rohm (Yorktown Heights, NY) led the men, clocking a time of 27:11.40 in the 8,000-meter run. 

On the women's side, rookie Anna Holcomb paced the Wolves with a time of 31:47.90 in the 6,000-meter. Senior Summer Smith followed up her up, crossing the line in 33:20.40. 

WestConn returns to action for the Little East Conference Championships hosted by UMass Dartmouth on Saturday, November 2.
