NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - Rookie
Nikolas Chevres (Miami, Fla.) netted a pair of goals, while classmate
Erik Lorent (Shelton, Conn.) chipped in with a scoring strike and one assist to lead the Western Connecticut State University men's soccer team to a 4-1 victory over non-conference foe Eastern Nazarene College on Sunday afternoon at the MCLA Tournament.
With the win, the Wolves extended their win streak, improving to 3-0 overall. The Lions dropped to 1-2. WestConn controlled the tempo as they outshot Eastern Nazarene by a 14-7 margin to go along with a 10-2 advantage in corner kicks.

The Wolves widened the gap to 3-0 when Chevres found the back of the net once again, unassisted. They would hold the advantage at halftime.
The WestConn flurry continued in the second half when senior
Payton Blynn (New Milford, Conn.) took a nifty pass from sophomore
Kadin Talho (Waterbury, Conn.) and blasted home his second goal of the season in the 53rd minute. Shortly thereafter, the Lions broke up the shutout when Clide Neau tallied his second of the year, rounding the count out at 4-1.
WestConn rookie
Zachary Benson (Milford, Conn.) and junior
