Kent Eannarino (Brookfield, Conn.) added a goal and two assists to pace the Wolves.
As the score would indicate the visitors dominated play. They outshot the Owls by a 19-2 margin and also managed a 5-1 corner kick advantage.
Muhaj sparked the outburst in the 17th minute of play when he took a feed from Eannarino and booted a low shot into the corner of the net. Shortly thereafter, senior midfielder
Payton Blynn (New Milford, Conn>) tickled the twine, extending the WestConn lead to 2-0 at halftime.
The Wolves would continue to be the aggressors in the second stanza as they rattled off four more goals. Rookie forward
Erik Lorent (Shelton, Conn.) began the barrage when he converted a penalty kick in the 49th minute. Muhaj and Eannarino would find the back of the net before sophomore forward
Jordan Dacosta (Jamaica, N.Y.) wrapped up the scoring.
WestConn will seek to extend the winning streak to 11 when they travel to LEC archrival Eastern Connecticut on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
