KEENE, N.H. - Senior attack
Dominique DeMarsico (Danbury, Conn.) registered game-highs of seven goals and five assists to lead the Western Connecticut State University women's lacrosse team to an 18-8 victory at Keene State in a Little East Conference contest on Saturday afternoon.

Alexa Riggio (North Massapequa, N.Y.) and sophomore
Vicky Gracy (Bethel, Conn.) each chipped in with four goals for the visitors. Hailey Ratajack paced the hosts with three goals and one assist.

Anna Schipf (Babylon, N.Y.) got back to her winning ways, recording nine saves, while Keene netminder Haley Terva finished with 14.
The Owls opened the game with two goals before DeMarsico and Gracy answered to knot the count at 2-2 in the first quarter.
The lead switched hands a couple times before WestConn reeled off a 4-0 run in the second, pulling ahead 7-4. Junior
Colleen Foley (Kingston, Mass.) capped the flurry with her 11th goal of the season.
After holding a 7-5 halftime edge, WCSU erupted for six straight goals. Gracy netted her 36th of the year. Shortly thereafter, DeMarsico would bury her team-leading 46th and the visitors would cruise the rest of the way.
With the win, WestConn improved to 9-4 overall and 3-0 in league play, while the Owls fell to 2-9 and 1-2. WCSU returns to action at LEC foe UMass Dartmouth on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
