Box Score RIVERDALE, N.Y. - The Western Connecticut State University men's tennis squad fell at Yeshiva University, 9-0, on Wednesday night at the Club of Riverdale in its Northeastern regular season opener. With the loss, WestConn dropped to 0-5 overall while the Macabees improved to 2-1.

Jay Kilcourse (New Fairfield, Conn.) put forth the most noteworthy effort in the loss, falling to his opponent in singles play, 6-4, 6-3.
"I anticipated that this match was going to be a challenge. Although, there were many opportunities where our team had chances to turn the match around and regain momentum, but they did not capitalize. As we progress through the season, I will expect the men will improve in this area," said WestConn head coach Shawn Stillman following play.
WCSU will look to snap the losing skid when they host Farmingdale State on Monday at 3:30 p.m.
