NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. - The Western Connecticut State University field hockey team suffered a 2-0 loss at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth at Cressy Field.
The Wolves, which fall to 5-11 overall and 2-9 in the Little East Conference, will wrap up the 2002 campaign at Plymouth State University on Saturday. Game time with the Panthers is set for 4 pm in the Granite State.
The Corsairs went up 1-0 at the 11:11 mark when Kylie Dias deposited his fifth goal of the season. She was set up with a short pass from Mya Amaral for the first-quarter advantage.
Jenna Carvalho added an insurance goal in the 41st minute after being assisted by Maggie McCafferty.
UMass Dartmouth improves to 3-13 overall and are now 1-10 in the conference.

Kayla Hnasko (Raritan, N.J.) made four saves in the loss while Hannah Trombly turned away five Wolves scoring chances.
UMD finished with a slim 12-11 advantage in shots, and the two squads drew even with five penalty corners.
