WestConn women's lacrosse team announced the hiring of Alexis Johnson as an assistant coach in February of 2024.  Johnson is a 2017 graduate from WestConn with a bachelor's degree in biology who was a four-year letterwinner and two-year captain for the Wolves. She was an assistant coach at Division II Post University for three seasons and at New Fairfield High School for one prior to her return to Danbury this season.  Johnson also own's a master's degree in nursing from Goodwin College and works as an elementary school nurse.
