Sean Young joined the WestConn women's lacrosse staff in the fall of 2024 after previously serving as an assistant coach for the Wolves men's lacrosse team, specializing on the defensive side. In his first season with the Wolves men in 2023, the team's defense was ranked first in the conference, won the Little East Conference (LEC) title and advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament. In Young's second season, the Wolves earning their way back to the conference finals.
Young graduated from WestConn in 2022 and was a Wolves goalkeeper for three seasons. He recorded a .667 save percentage with an 8.93 GAA in his WestConn career. Young also coached multiple age levels for the Connecticut Wolves Lacrosse Club for two years and has been an assistant coach for the Bethel High School boys lacrosse team and the Weston High School girls volleyball team. Young resides in Danbury, Connecticut.
