Freshman defender Wanjiro Gatheru joins WestConn field hockey for the 2018 season. A Business major from Pomfret, Connecticut, Wanjiro attended Woodstock Academy. While at Woodstock Academy, Wanjiro was coached by Lauren Gagnon, and received an honorable mention under her coaching.
