Freshman: Made four appearances and started one game on the mound...  Went 2-0 on the hill...  In 13 innings, allowed 12 hits and five earned runs...  Struck out 19 and walked just five...  Registered a 3.46 ERA...  Sophomore: Started six games on the bump...  Went 2-3 with a 4.15 ERA...  Hurled 34.2 innings and struck out 36 batters and walked 17...  Junior: Made three starts and went 1-1 before suffering a season-ending injury...  Struck out 13 in 10.2 innings...  An All-Little East Conference soccer selection this past fall.

Before WCSU: Graduated from Torrington High School in 2014… Played scholastically for Coach Richardson at THS...  An All-Conference selection following his senior campaign.

Personal: Son of Jim Bierfeldt and Mary Kehoe...  Born April 30, 1996...  Younger brother of former WestConn standout and minor league prospect Conor Bierfeldt...  Majoring in Finance.
