Sophomore: Started seven of 13 games he played in...  Registered a .679 slugging percentage with a home run, two doubles and 14 total hits...  Scored six runs and had a .563 on-base percentage.  

Before WCSU: Transferred to WestConn after short stints at St. Thomas Aquinas and Farmingdale State Colleges... Graduated from Bethpage High School in 2013… Played scholastically for Robert Fisher at BHS...  An All-Conference selection following his junior and senior campaigns...  Named one of the Top 100 Long Island players in 2013.

Personal: Son of George and Charlene DeCastro...  Majoring in Health Promotion Studies.
