Justin Grullon joined the WestConn baseball coaching staff in the fall of 2022. He serves primarily as an assistant pitching coach, working alongside Coach Shaw and putting the pitchers through their daily defensive drills and cardiovascular fitness. He is a particularly valuable resource for those athletes for whom English is a second language.
Grullon graduated from Western Connecticut State University in 2022 with a degree in history and also has a master's degree in secondary education from his alma mater. A three-year member of the WestConn baseball team after playing one year at the College of New Rochelle, Grullon was a mainstay in the Wolves starting rotation for the better part of three seasons and was equally effective out of the bullpen.
Grullon's coaching career has spanned over five years. Since 2018, he has been a head coach for Baseball King Academy and the Cage Warriors. He currently works at Rogers Park Middle School.
