Alex Cordone joined the WestConn baseball coaching staff in fall of 2022. He specializes in catching and strength training. The WestConn catching crew has improved immensely under Cordone's guidance. He works with them intensely at every practice in all aspects of the catching game. On game days, Cordone ia a valuable resource both on the field and in the dugout between innings. Cordone also runs the team's weight training sessions during both the non-traditional season in the fall and in the spring.
Cordone was a four-year member of the WestConn baseball team during his time at the school. He was an outstanding defensive backstop for the Wolves. Cordone graduated with a degree in history and has obtained certifications in strength training and as a cancer exercise specialist. He is currently a health fitness instructor for Stamford Health at the Tully Health Center.
