PROVIDENCE, R.I. - For the third time this season, Cody Suhr (Holbrook, N.Y.) earned Little East Conference (LEC) Offensive Player of the Week award after the Western Connecticut State University men's lacrosse team went 2-0 this week in league action. Charlie Guidera (Redding, Conn.) was selected for Defensive Player of the Week for the first time on Monday.

Suhr totaled 12 goals for the Wolves, who continue to lead the LEC standings following a pair of league wins last week. He had six goals and an assist to lead the WestConn to a 20-5 win over visiting Eastern Connecticut before he racked up a game-high six goals in a 25-5 victory over visiting Southern Maine

Guidera totaled five caused turnovers and 10 ground balls in a 2-0 week for the LEC-leading Wolves. He notched four ground balls and five caused turnovers in a 20-5 win against Eastern and recorded the 100th career groundball as he picked up six in a 25-5 victory over Southern Maine.
