PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Western Connecticut State University senior Tristan McMahon (Farmingville, N.Y.) and freshman Thomas Keeghan (Lake Grove, N.Y.) each received Little East Conference (LEC) Men's Lacrosse Weekly honors for their fantastic play in wins over Farmingdale State and Massachusetts Maritime last week.  McMahon was named the LEC Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this spring and Keegan collected his second LEC Rookie of the Week honor.  WestConn, coached by Ryan Cavanagh (11th Season), is currently 6-3 overall and 1-0 in the LEC and will face Montclair State next on Thursday at 4 p.m.

McMahon totaled eight goals and three assists for 11 points for the week. He scored six times in a 15-9 win over previously-undefeated Farmingdale State and added two goals and three assists in an 11-9 victory against Massachusetts Maritime.  He also had four ground balls in the two games.  Keegan totaled three goals, three assists and seven ground balls versus the Rams and the Buccaneers. He had a goal, an assist and three ground balls against Farmingdale State and added two goals, two assists and four GBs against Massachusetts Maritime.
