PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Western Connecticut State University freshman Sienna Smith (Manchester, Conn.) has been selected as the Little East Conference (LEC) Women's Soccer Rookie Player Of The Week for her outstanding play last week for the Wolves.  Smith played all 180 minutes during a 1-1 week for the Wolves and scored her first collegiate goal in Saturday's 4-0 victory over Keene State. Anchoring the center of WestConn's back line, she helped limit the Owls to 10 shots, including just two in the first half. Smith scored in the 28th minute to extend the Wolves' lead to 3-0.  WestConn, coached by Alex Harrison (11th Season), is currently 6-3-7 overall and has secured third place in the LEC with a 4-1-3 conference mark.  The Wolves will close the 2026 regular season with a 7 p.m. tilt at Bridgewater State on Tuesday, October 27.
