WALTHAM, Mass. — Jordyn Grey (Naugatuck, Conn.) placed high for the Western Connecticut State University women's indoor track & field team at the Reggie Poyau Invitational hosted by Brandeis University on Saturday. WestConn finished eighth with 12 points.

Grey finished second in the shot put with an 11.19 meter throw and earned fifth in the weight throw after a 11.97 meter heave.

WestConn travels to in-state Wesleyan University on January 24 for a 10 a.m.
