DANBURY, Conn. - The Western Connecticut State University women's soccer team cruised to its fifth straight victory as they downed visiting non-conference opponent Brooklyn College, 5-0, on Monday evening at the Westside Athletic Complex. With the win, the Wolves improved to 6-3-1 overall while the Bulldogs dropped to 2-6.

Kate Suazo (Brewster, N.Y.) and tickled the twine 13:12 into the game. Junior forward Abby Corcoran (Newington, Conn.) gathered a loose ball and booted a long shot off the outstretched hands of the Brooklyn goalie and into the corner of the net just under two minutes later. Gigi Amatulli (Danbury, Conn.) snagged a rebound off the post and fired in her first goal of the campaign. The Wolves will head into the break with the 3-0 advantage.
