OSWEGO, N.Y. - Senior setter
Maggie Ferguson (Southbury, Conn.) dished out match-highs of 24 and 30 assists to lead the Western Connecticut State University women's volleyball team to a pair of wins at the SUNY Oswego Tournament on Friday. The Wolves breezed past Keuka, 3-0 (25-10, 25-16, 26-24), before blanking Brockport, 3-0 (25-17, 25-22, 25-15) on the opening day of the tournament. WestConn returns to action for Day Two against host Oswego at 10 a.m. before battling Utica at Noon.

Julia Stoliker (Red Hook, N.Y.) led the way with seven kills, while senior
Jersey Jones (Middletown, N.Y.) contributed match-high's of 13 digs and three aces. Ferguson and rookie
Ella Hubert (Buffalo, N.Y.) tacked on three blocks apiece.
It was a similar story in the second match. Stoliker nailed a match-high 13 kills and four service strikes. Senior
Isabella Pincince (West Hartford, Conn.) also drilled four aces.
With the pair of wins, the Wolves improved to 6-3 overall. Brockport moved to 5-6 while Keuka went to 1-10.Â
