Box Score DANBURY, Conn. — Gracen Regan (Monroe, N.J.) was four saves away from 200 career saves as the Western Connecticut State University women's soccer team dropped a 5-0 contest against the visiting Vassar College Brewers at the Westside Stadium. Regan had 196 career saves in the net for the Wolves after the junior collected seven on Wednesday. WestConn dropped to 1-3-1 on the season, while the Brewers improved to 4-0-0 overall.

Vassar netted the first goal off the boot of Lucy Hale at the 23-minute mark. The visitors notched one more in the first half and a trio of tallies in the second. WestConn had its best chance to collect a tally at 81:15 as first-year Madelyn Dwyer's (Poughquag, N.Y.) shot doinked off the crossbar.

The Wolves remain at home to host their first Little East Conference matchup against Vermont State Castleton on Saturday at 2 p.m.
