James Kosty (Cranford, N.J.) and sophomore
Luke Reis (Mahopac, N.Y.) on the Little East Conference (LEC) 2024 Fall All-Academic Team, while 10 WestConn mens golfers graced the 2024 LEC Fall Academic Honor Roll.
The 2025 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes at-large honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® men's honorees will be announced on July 9.
To be selected to the Fall All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must have reached sophomore academic standing and be in good standing in their sport with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30. Over 440 student-athletes honored by the league and nine WestConn athletes all-conference and all-academic honors this fall. Imetovski, Tackson, Onek and Regan graced both the Little East All-Academic squad and received an LEC Sportsmanship award this autumn.
The Little East Conference (LEC) announced a total of 2,276 student-athletes competing in the conference's current 21 championship sports were named to the LEC Academic Honor Roll in recognition of their academic performance in the Fall 2024 semester. To be named the LEC Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a semester GPA of 3.00 or better and have been an active member of the team at the conclusion of the term.
WestConn, coached by Adam Lanehart (3rd Season), finished third in the Little East Conference (LEC) Championship Tournament and 14th in the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Championships in the 2024 fall season. Larson had three top-ten finishes in 2024-25 and finished sixth on the leaderboard at the LEC Championships to collect All-LEC honors. Larson is a graduate of New Milford High School.
