Little East Conference Secures Five-Year Media Rights Agreement with FloSports, Will Join FloCollege Platform Beginning in 2025-26

4/3/2025 1:21:00 PM

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Following unanimous approval of the Little East Conference (LEC) Presidents Council, Commissioner Albert Bean, Jr. announced the LEC has entered an exclusive five-year media rights agreement with FloSports that will begin in the upcoming 2025-26 academic year. The seven-figure partnership makes the LEC the fifth NCAA Division III conference to join the FloCollege portfolio.

"We're very excited about our new partnership and five-year media rights agreement with FloSports," said Bean. "This agreement will greatly enhance the visibility of the Little East Conference, assist us in telling the truly great stories and achievements of our student-athletes and team, and provide access to an international platform for those who choose to subscribe. Working with our conference members and FloSports, we look forward to delivering outstanding live video streaming and value added extras, which includes our content being available alongside other prominent NCAA Division I, II and III conferences."

The LEC will add over 1,000 broadcast events annually to the internationally available FloCollege platform, which features a growing number of NCAA conferences. In addition to the LEC, FloCollege subscribers will have access to events broadcast by the Division I Big East Conference and Coastal Athletic Association (CAA), and DIII Landmark Conference, New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC), Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.

"WestConn Athletics will continue to provide viewers top-of-the-line live video of our teams thanks to the dedicated work and expertise of the Western Connecticut State University Media Services Department along with the LEC partnership with FloSports," said WestConn Athletic Director Lori Mazza. "WestConn prides itself on offering one of the highest quality live streaming experiences in all of NCAA Division III, thanks in large part to the voice of WestConn Athletics Hall of Famer Bart Busterna."

FloCollege will deliver live and on-demand coverage for the majority of the LEC's 23-sponsored championship sports, and will invest in original content and storytelling initiatives online and across social media aimed at elevating the profile of the LEC's student-athletes and institutions. Sports not offered by the LEC (football, gymnastics, wrestling, etc.) may be opted into the FloCollege platform based on institutional decisions.

"We are thrilled to welcome the Little East Conference to the FloCollege platform," said Kolby Paxton, FloSports Director, Rights Acquisition. "The LEC is a fantastic Division III league with outstanding institutions and a shared commitment to student-athlete excellence. This partnership marks our fifth NCAA Division III conference collaboration, further strengthening our footprint in the New England region. From the outset, there was mutual interest in building this relationship, and we're excited to help grow the LEC's exposure through a significant investment in production resources and storytelling."

FloCollege is available on the web and for download on mobile devices (iOS and Android) as well as smart TVs and streaming devices, including Roku, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire TV. FloSports offers both yearly and monthly subscription options, with discounts available to users with a .edu email address. About the Little East Conference
The Little East Conference (LEC) was formed in 1986 when six public institutions gathered to create a single sport athletic conference, and has expanded into what is now New England's premier athletic conference for public institutions in NCAA Division III. The LEC will soon feature 23 championship sports, sponsoring quality competition for our student-athletes while following the Division III mission of "passion, responsibility, sportsmanship and citizenship."

The Little East consists of nine primary institutions that encompass all six New England states – Eastern Connecticut State University, Keene State College (N.H.), University of Massachusetts Boston, University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, Plymouth State University (N.H.), Rhode Island College, University of Southern Maine, Vermont State University Castleton, and Western Connecticut State University. The LEC will include 22 affiliate member programs competing in seven championship offerings with the addition of men's and women's ice hockey in 2025-26.
