PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Western Connecticut State University senior defenseman Creighen Watson has been named the Little East Conference (LEC) Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week for his fine play in WestConn's 21-11 win against Keene State.  Watson scooped three ground balls and forced two turnovers to help the Wolves finish undefeated in conference play this spring.  WestConn, coached by Ryan Cavanagh (9h Season), finished the 2025 regular season with a 10-6 overall record and captured the LEC regular season title with a perfect 7-0 conference record.  The Wolves received a bye in the opening round of the LEC Championship Tournament and will host either Massachusetts Maritime or Keene State in the conference semifinals on Thursday, May 1 at 4 p.m.
