ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. - The Western Connecticut State University Wolves suffered a 7-0 setback against the College of St. Benedict Bennies in women's tennis action this afternoon at Sanlando Park.  Wolves senior Diana Rebelo (Naugatuck, Conn.) put up the strongest fight in singles play with a 6-3, 6-2 loss in the No. 2 match.  The Bennies won by a 6-1 score in all three doubles matches.  The Wolves will be back in action tomorrow at 8 a.m. when they face the Edgewood College Eagles at the United States Tennis Association (USTA) National Tennis Center.  

"While we are down a couple of starters from our fall lineup, the ladies played a bit out of place, but they are up for the challenge," said WestConn Head Coach Shawn Stillman. "I will expect their results will get stronger as the week goes on."
