Tyonna Morgan (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) ripped down a game-high 12 rebounds while rookie forward
Nia Rencher (Wappingers Falls, N.Y.) netted a team-high 13 points but the Western Connecticut State University women's basketball team fell to visiting Little East Conference foe Keene State College, 61-42, on Saturday afternoon at Feldman Arena.
It marked Senior Day and the home finale for the Wolves as

Alyssa Virtue (Groton, Conn.) and Morgan were honored before play.
Three players tallied double figures for the visitors.Sophomore guard Brynn Rautiola (Rindge, N.H.) led the way with a game-high 16 while rookie guard Ruby Dasaro (Fairfield, Vt.) and senior forward Samantha Lee (Clifton Park, N.Y.) added 14 and 11, respectively.Â
The Wolves were forced into committing 24 turnovers while the Owls lost the rock just 14 times. It led to 23 points off turnovers for Keene State.Â
WestConn fell behind early but knotted the count at 8-8 when junior guard

Gianna Castellano (East Haven, Conn.) and drilled a three-pointer from the top of the key. However, the Owls reeled off an 18-0 run that began at the end of the first quarter and stretched into the second. The Wolves would not recover as Keene State took a 33-17 lead into the locker room at halftime.Â
The hosts won the fourth quarter battle, 13-11, but the visitors came away with the victory. With the loss, WestConn dropped to 5-19 overall and 3-12 in league play, while Keene State improved to 11-12 and 7-7. The Wolves return to action to wrap up the season when they travel to UMass Dartmouth on Saturday. The Corsairs currently stand atop the division at 20-3 overall and 13-1 in the LEC.
