UTICA, N.Y. - Freshmen Vienna Brocco (Roslyn, N.Y.) and Katelyn Zaloski (Danbury, Conn.) finished seventh in the 800-meter run and the mile run, as the Western Connecticut State University Wolves opened the 2025-26 women's indoor track and field season at the Utica College Holiday Classic this afternoon at Hutton Sports and Recreation Center.  Brocco posted a time of 2:53.49 and Zaloski finished the mile at 6:10.68.  Brocco was also 10th in the mile run, while Wolves' sophomore Marisol Tapia (Danbury, Conn.) was 10th in the 800 meters and 13th in the mile.  WestConn will be back in action next year beginning with the Reggie Poyau Invitational at Brandeis University on January 17.
