MANCHESTER, Conn. — Ed Dalton (Naugatuck, Conn.) set a personal best in the 5K, clocking 16:33.6 at the George Suitor Invitational, hosted by Trinity College (Conn.) at Wickham Park on Saturday. The Western Connecticut State University men's cross country team placed eighth overall with a team score of 213. 

Dalton crossed the finish line for the 48th spot, with newcomer G Hungerford (Thomaston, Conn.) close behind at 54th with a time of 16:39.6. Alex Neves (Danbury, Conn.) clocked in at 70th with a time of 16:53.4, and Ivan Butova (Niantic, Conn.) was four runners behind for a time of 16:58.9.

The Wolves run next at the Keene State Invitational on October 3 at 10:30 a.m.
