Maggie Ferguson (Southbury, Conn.), but Eastern quickly took control and maintained the lead throughout the first set. In the second set, WestConn started strong and held a lead until the Warriors rallied to tie it at 16-16. The home team then kept the Wolves at bay for the remainder of the set. WestConn came out with a 5-1 lead in the third set, looking to mount a comeback, but Eastern gradually regained momentum. The teams traded points, but the Warriors eventually took control at 11-11 and completed the sweep.
